The GFWC-NC is a women's volunteer organization founded in 1902 dedicated to the improvement of the communities in which we live. With approximately 150 clubs and 4,000 members, this state-wide federation contributes thousands of hours of volunteer service and over $1 million to North Carolina each year. GFWC-NC as a state federation is a member of the General Federation of Women's Clubs (GFWC), one of the largest non-denominational women's volunteer organizations in the world.
